I had a baby 6 weeks ago. I did it at home with no drugs and only my Midwife, my mother and my boyfriend to assist. It was great.  

I buried my best friend two weeks ago. He was 41. Even though I knew he was sick, there is absolutely nothing that prepares you for that call.   

I wasn’t always sure that I would have kids. When I got married at the ripe old age of 31, I figured at some point in the next few years but that point never came. It was the wrong person, the wrong time and for that reason it never happened. Grateful I dodged that bullet because we divorced and being a single Mom was never on my list of life goals.  

As I continue to gear up for my bathroom renovation I’m thinking about all the finishes. Now that I’ve gotten the wall tile, floor tile and vanity selected, my mind has shifted to all the finishes. First up, rugs. I love the idea of Turkish rugs in the bathroom.
