KADI'S CHAIR: DREAM BIG

We loved spending the afternoon with Erica yesterday! A chill and easy going personality, she needed a hair change that was noticeable, but equally low maintenance.

THE PROCESS:

Hector first cut about 6 inches off, and then we applied a semi permanent base color that was slightly deeper and ashier than her natural color, to establish a fresh canvas for the highlights to pop. By using a semi-permanent, a few grays may remain, but the softer and less brassy and longer grow-out between appointments is definitely worth the trade off. Her hair was then hand painted via balayage, leaving plenty of depth at the root, with a slightly heavier application on key pieces on the ends for that creamy paler blonde. We lifted to the shade we wanted, and skipped a toner entirely to further extend the life of her color. Hector then finished with a perfect blowdry and style, ending with Serge Normant‘s Dream Big texturizing spray- hands down our favorite styling product at the Atelier.
