Sun-kissed caramel curls for our sweet client Esmé.
THE PROCESS....
Like many of our clients with curly and textured hair, Esmé usually prefers to let her hair dry naturally after a color appointment, or opt to leave with our signature moisturizing treatment to replenish the hair post color. So unless I manage to hang out with them outside of the salon (or stalk their Instagram account;)) chances of getting an “after” picture are slim to none.
A busy new mom of 2 and an accomplished entrepreneur, when Esmé arrived for her color appointment directly from her haircut w/ the amazing Shai Amiel, I knew I had my chance. Though these are “before” shots, our approach with her color is gentle and low maintenance, keeping her color consistent for months on end. 
While her base color sits, we pull through random dark pieces for depth and dimension, finishing with an all over golden gloss for shine. Highlights are done once a year max, making the ends of her curls pop, maintaining the overall health and integrity of her hair, and (most importantly!) allowing her to get back to her two little ones without having to spend a lot of time in a salon.
