Venice Gives Back

On Sunday, May 17th, I had the pleasure of attending a local fundraiser (with my godson Rocky in tow) thrown by a group of ladies called the Venice Angelinos.   The group partnered with a non profit called “Help for Orphans”, and the fundraiser and silent and live auctions raised funds to help build a water well for the children of Limbe Academy in Haiti.   Wine was sponsored by local vintners Tanner Defoe and Bandolet Wines, and beer was provided by House Beer (a Unique Camp and Highbrow Hippie favorite!). I personally donated a ‘Highbrow Hippie Haircolor consultation and makeover’, which was featured in the live auction along with a limited edition Venice Beach print from Steven Lake Photography.
